About this tour
A half-day to discover the highlights of Nice, capital of the French Riviera, by car with a chauffeur and on foot in Old Nice. You will pass along the Promenade des Anglais, the harbour, Place Garibaldi and Cimiez Hill, with several stops along the way.
Cimiez: Queen Victoria’s residential quarter, 1st-century Gallo-Roman remains and the 16th-century Franciscan monastery with its gardens, long the setting for the Nice Jazz Festival. St Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral, built under the last Tsar, Nicholas II, one of the largest Orthodox churches outside Russia. Castle Hill park and its waterfall, the birthplace of the city, whose ramparts once protected the lower town now known as Old Nice: from here, the finest views over the Promenade, the old town and the harbour.
To finish, a stroll along Cours Saleya in the heart of Old Nice with its flower market or, on Mondays, its antiques market.
