About this tour
The most complete tour to discover the astonishing French Riviera in a single day: Eze Village, La Turbie, Monaco and Monte-Carlo, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Antibes and Cannes.
First stop: Eze, a medieval hilltop village 429 metres above sea level, with its spectacular setting, exotic garden and panoramic views. A visit to the Fragonard perfumery reveals the secrets of perfume-making. The route then passes through La Turbie, the “terrace of Monaco”, and its Trophy of the Alps, a Roman monument erected in honour of Emperor Augustus, before reaching the Principality, nicknamed “the Rock”.
In Monaco, you will visit the old town, the Prince’s Palace, the Oceanographic Museum and the white-stone Romanesque Revival cathedral where Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly were married and are laid to rest. The route then follows the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit to Casino Square in Monte-Carlo.
In the afternoon, head west: the hilltop village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, an open-air museum; the old town of Antibes, where Picasso once lived; and finally Cannes, its bay and the Croisette, lined with palace hotels all the way to the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
